The following policy applies to equipment ordered through our site without the use of insurance coverage. This policy excludes any items ordered using your insurance.

Home Medix accepts returns on our equipment within 30 days of the original shipping date of the order. Once we receive the return back, we will issue a 100% store credit in the form of a gift certificate for your original purchase amount, including tax and excluding shipping costs. While we have a generous exchange policy, we do not offer refunds.

Please Note: Items that are partially or entirely covered by your insurance CANNOT be refunded.

Due to the insurance billing process, products ordered through your insurance are considered final and cannot be returned for a refund. In most cases, we can facilitate a one-time exchange (within 30 days of the shipment date of your order) for a comparable product to help with problems such as mask sizing.

To arrange an exchange, please contact us or call our Customer Care team at 800 403-1010 to obtain the return address and an RMA number for your product. An RMA number is required to ensure that your package is processed correctly once it has been received.

Within 30 days of the original ship date, Home Medix will facilitate an exchange of any merchandise that we sell to you that has a manufacturer's defect. Please contact us if you believe a product you purchased from us is defective. We will work with you and the manufacturer to facilitate the exchange for a new product and will cover the shipping costs for standard (non-expedited) shipping.

Depending on the manufacturer, most machines are covered under warranty for 1 to 2 years after purchase. If your machine purchased from Home Medix is broken or malfunctioning, please call our office at (800) 403-1010 with your machine nearby, as we will need to verify the Serial Number on your machine to verify its warranty. If your machine is still under warranty, we will contact the manufacturer to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) on your behalf. Warranty claim decisions are made solely at the discretion of the manufacturer. The customer is responsible for shipping the machine to our office; we do provide a return label to cover the cost of shipment.

A prescription (Rx) is always required for the following purchases:

• -Any item (machine or supplies) that you would like us to bill to your insurance. This is because a prescription is needed to show medical necessity to your insurance company.
• -CPAP & BiPAP Machines
• - Oxygen (Concentrator or POC)
• -Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Device (Wound Vac)
• -Suction Machine
• - Power Chair or Power Wheelchair

What needs to be on your prescription?

We will accept a prescription signed by any of the following types of healthcare providers. Your provider must be licensed within the United States of America.

• - Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Psychiatrist
• - Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• - Physician's Assistant (P.A.)
• - Nurse Practitioner (N.P.)
• - Dentist (D.D.S) or Orthodontist

A valid prescription should have all of the following information legible:

• - Provider's Signature (either handwritten or electronic authorization)
• - Provider's office contact information (preferably with NPI Identification)
• - Full Name of the Patient
• - Date of Birth of the Patient
• - Date of Issue
• - Type of CPAP equipment being prescribed. (If the Rx is for a new respiratory equipment such as CPAP or Oxygen, your pressure setting or liter flow should also be indicated - either Automatic or a number for your pressure level)

If your order contains a prescription item, you may send it to us either before or after your order has been placed. Your prescription must be received before your order can be shipped to you. You can send it to us using any of the following methods:

Send your prescription as an attachment to rx@homemedix.com. Please be sure that your date of birth is on the Rx form. Please include your name and/or send it from the same email that you will use for your order to help us process it.

- Fax

You may fax your prescription to (888) 553-0051. Please be sure that your date of birth is on the Rx form. Please include your name or order number to help us process it.

We regret that Home Medix is not able to ship outside of the United States.

-PRIVATE PAY: All private pay purchases and private pay rentals will require and include sales tax in the total.

-INSURANCE: Any sales and rentals done through insurance don't require any sales tax.
