The design

Turns in its own footprint.

The Vision Sport is a true mid-wheel-drive power chair. With the drive wheels centered under the rider, it turns in a 20 in radius, close to its own footprint. Independent suspension smooths the ride, and Merits rates the footplate to take up to 250 lb without tipping.

The semi-reclining seat goes back up to 135° and comes as a captain or pan seat in 16 to 20 in widths, with seat depth adjustable from 16 to 20 in. 10 in solid drive tires mean no flats, a Dynamic LiNX 40A controller supports Bluetooth programming, and two 33Ah AGM batteries give up to 18 miles per charge at speeds up to 5 mph.
