The design

Built for 450 pounds.

The Vision Super is Merits' super heavy-duty mid-wheel-drive chair, rated for up to 450 lb. Dual 300W motors drive it up to 5 mph with up to 20 miles per charge, and with the drive wheels centered under the rider it turns in a 21 in radius.

Independent suspension smooths the ride, and Merits rates the footplate to take up to 350 lb without tipping forward. The semi-reclining seat goes back up to 135°, comes as a captain or pan seat in 20 to 24 in widths, and adjusts in depth from 18 to 22 in. 12 in flat-free drive tires and Bluetooth programming through the Dynamic controller round it out.
