The design

Light enough to lift, simple enough to fold.

The X-6 is one of the lightest electric wheelchairs in the ComfyGO lineup at 50 lb without the battery. Its aircraft-grade aluminum frame folds down to 30.5 × 18.5 × 30 in, so it fits in most car trunks and tucks into a closet or corner between uses.

Dual 250W motors (500W total) power the chair through five speed settings up to 4 mph and handle inclines up to 6°. Steering runs through a weather-resistant 360° joystick, and electromagnetic brakes built into the motors hold the chair in place when you let go, including on a slope.

The standard 12Ah battery is airline and cruise approved and goes up to 13 miles per charge. The optional 20Ah battery extends range to 19 miles. Both charge from a regular household outlet. Check your airline or cruise line's battery rules before you travel.
