The design

Under 40 pounds, made to travel.

The X-7 is built for travel. The chair weighs 38 lb without batteries and folds to 31 × 12 × 27 in, and the backrest and seat pads attach with hook-and-loop so they lift off quickly before folding.

Brushless dual 250W motors drive it up to 4 mph, steered with a detachable LCD joystick or the included Bluetooth remote. Electromagnetic brakes hold the chair when you stop. The armrests flip up, the removable footrests adjust to three heights, and anti-tippers come standard.

Power comes from 24V 7.5Ah lithium-ion batteries (180Wh each), approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. One battery gives up to 10 miles and two give up to 19. ComfyGO lists air travel as approved with a single battery installed, so check your carrier's rules before you fly.
